Zach Myers Revisits Unreleased Album From Previous Band
Last week Zack Myers of Shinedown dropped an album 15 years in the making. Revealing in the tweet below that before Shinedown, he was in a band called the Fairwell and planned to release Schizophrenic Love Songs back in 2006 but things just didn’t pan out.
He went into further details here. What’s your favorite recording from an artist before they hit the big time? I always find it interesting to hear the early works of rock bands, particularly the albums they make before they get major record deals like Nirvana‘s Bleach or Smashing Pumpkins‘ Gish.
This is an album I made 15 years ago. After I joined Shinedown 15 years ago I just never got around to putting it out. A month didn’t go by where someone didn’t asked me when it was coming out... Well, here’s an album I made when I was 23 years old...
