Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford played his 165th game as the Lions quarterback on Sunday (Jan. 3), closing out his 12th season with the team.
Changes are afloat in the Lions camp, with a new general manager and head coach coming in 2021, and nobody quiet knows if Stafford will stay with the Lions, be traded or call it a day for good.
That said, emotions are high, and this video featuring Stafford mic’d up during the season finale against the Minnesota Vikings is a tear-jerker.
It begins with Stafford ready to tough out another big game and ends with a spontaneous, emotional moment. Watch it below, and get out the Kleenex!
