If Tiger King has taught us anything it’s that there is a ferocious appetite for news stories about people and animals acting badly and the wild happenstance of life. In that spirit each night during the 9 and 10 o’clock hour I enjoy playing a game with you, the listener, called Florida or Australia. The rules are simple: I’ll tell you about a news story on the air and you text or call in and tell me if you think the story happened in Florida or Australia.(because those two places seem to have a high concentration of craziness.) Here are tonight’s stories:

LAKELAND, Fla. - A man's desire to eat pancakes in the middle of the road got him in trouble with the police. On Monday, Lakeland Police Department received a call that a man was sitting in the middle of a crosswalk eating pancakes on a small TV table.

Police in Western Australia were called to a property in Perth after a property owner noticed 'explicit images' had been imprinted into the ground. They've since published an image of the man they believe to be the culprit and are now hunting for them to make themselves known.

Be sure to tune in Monday through Friday nights at 9 and 10pm if you want to play along.
