‘The Russian Five’ Airs on PBS Tonight; Tells the Story of the Detroit Red Wings’ Russian Stars

The Russian Five will be aired on PBS (Channel 56) in Detroit at 9 p.m. tonight (Dec. 17). The film tells the story of how five Soviets became Detroit Red Wings.
The documentary is jam-packed with interviews, including chats with the five players, other Wings team members and coaches. Wayne Gretzky and actor Jeff Daniels also appear in the film.
