Menorah in the D, the annual lighting of the Hanukkah menorah in Campus Martius, is still on this year– but it’s virtual.
The lighting will take place at sunset Thursday (Dec. 10), and the full show will be live streamed, allowing people to watch it from their homes. Usually, about 5,000 people attend.
Roughly 25 people are expected to participate in person in Campus Martius, all masked and socially distanced.
The show will start at 5 p.m. and can be viewed at MenorahintheD.com. The lighting is expected to start at 5:30 p.m.
