There’s a Good Chance of Seeing Northern Lights in Michigan This Week

Michigan, especially southern Michigan, has a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights tonight!
The Space Weather Prediction Center predicts that between 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. EST tonight is the best chance to see a “strong” geomagnetic storm reach Earth.
If so, that would offer great viewing conditions throughout the Midwest and Great Lakes region.
So, what will you see? The Northern Lights can look very different, offering various colors, shapes and textures. Look for flickering in the sky!
It’s best to watch the Northern Lights away from city lights, where the sky is clear. We’re supposed to have clear skies tonight, making it an even better chance for spotting!
Happy viewing!
