There have been lots of rumors regarding whether Ohio State will be eligible for the Big Ten championship game this year, due to various games being canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Now, sources are telling ESPN that the Big Ten is expected to vote and alter its six-game minimum rule, giving the Buckeyes the needed leeway to go up against Northwestern in the conference title game.
As previously reported, this Saturday’s game between Ohio State and the University of Michigan was canceled due to a COVID-19 outbreak on Michigan’s side. It marked the third canceled game for Ohio State this season, following games against Illinois and Maryland.
