If Tiger King has taught us anything it’s that there is a ferocious appetite for news stories about people and animals acting badly and the wild happenstance of life. In that spirit each night during the 9 and 10 o’clock hour I enjoy playing a game with you, the listener, called Florida or Australia. The rules are simple: I’ll tell you about a news story on the air and you text or call in and tell me if you think the story happened in Florida or Australia.(because those two places seem to have a high concentration of craziness.) Sydney Parents Speak Out After Son Got 'Legally Married' To Mate To Party With 150 Pals

People went wild when a photo emerged on social media showing two mates getting 'legally married' to skirt around coronavirus restrictions. The crux of the story was that the boys wanted to have a party with 150 mates but it was disguised as a wedding ceremony.

Man punched his girlfriend, ran from officers and was hit and killed by train, police say

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - A man was hit by a train and killed after running from the scene of a domestic violence incident Tuesday morning in Miami Shores, police say. According to Miami-Dade police, the 23-year-old man and his girlfriend were at a store on Biscayne Boulevard, near NE 90th Street, when he punched her.
