If Tiger King has taught us anything it’s that there is a ferocious appetite for news stories about people and animals acting badly and the wild happenstance of life. In that spirit each night during the 9 and 10 o’clock hour I enjoy playing a game with you, the listener, called Florida or Australia. The rules are simple: I’ll tell you about a news story on the air and you text or call in and tell me if you think the story happened in Florida or Australia.(because those two places seem to have a high concentration of craziness.) Driver arrested after scooter hit-and-run in Pompano Beach leaves 2 men dead

POMPANO BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Authorities have arrested a driver who, they said, killed two men riding a scooter in Pompano Beach and then fled the scene. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred near West McNab Road, along the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway, just before 6:45 a.m., Sunday.

Police seize 1350 tins of allegedly stolen baby formula

Police have seized 1350 tins of baby formula and other pharmaceutical items and charged two men with stealing it from stores to send overseas. A 53-year-old man was arrested at a shopping centre carpark on Queen Street, near Harrow Road in Auburn in Sydney's west, about 11.45am on Thursday, as part of an investigation into an organised retail theft syndicate operating across Sydney.
