The next big reality show might be out of this world-- literally!

A U.S.-based production company called Space Hero Inc. is in reportedly in discussions with NASA to hold a reality show about a contest that will lead to a regular guy or gal heading to the International Space Station for over a week, with cameras everywhere.

According to Deadline, the television program is scheduled to debut in 2023, but there are plenty of things that have to be done before it is cleared to go on air.

The show, called Space Hero, will reportedly be unscripted and similar to American Idol, with the grand prize of getting a trip up to space.

The contestants vying to win will be taken through a range of tests and trials to see who would be the candidate for a trip to space. I'm scared of flying on an airplane, let along a spaceship, so you can have at this one!
