Watch Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter on Vintage ‘Bill and Ted’ Audition Tape

Get ready to walk into a time machine of sorts, because some "grainy audition tapes" from 1986 have surfaced of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter doing their classic air guitar moves and more, in preparation for their starring role in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure."

That air guitar move, of course, would be come a famous fixture for the entire "Bill and Ted" film franchise, which is gearing up to release "Bill & Ted Face the Music" in a few weeks.

The audition tape features the two actors reading through their lines to see how their on-screen chemistry might be and trying to mesh a bit with each others' characters acting styles. Seeing these guys doing a casual read-through in clothing and hair styles from decades past is pretty wild!
