Celebrated talk show hot Regis Philbin passed away last weekend at the age of 88.
Over the course of his career, Philbin interacted with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including rock stars. That said, it makes sense that he, at one point, had a fun little with Motley Crue.
A classic YouTube has appeared of the Crue appearing on “Live With Regis and Kathie Lee” back in 1997.
Part of the nostalgic interview shows Philbin so enchanted by the Crue that he wants to audition to be a band member. At the end of the chat, Philbin tries to prove to the Crue he can be a real member, performing a “rock arrangement” of a children’s song. Good times!
