A 51-year-old Michigan woman was arrested in a murder-for-hire plot when she tried to hire a hitman to kill her ex-husband.
The woman was busted after she filled out a "service request" form on a fictitious, satirical website called Rent-A-Hitman. The creator of the website contacted authorities after he reached out to the woman and she seemed very serious about hiring someone to kill her ex-husband. An undercover operation was setup and she offered $5000 to an agent to murder the man.
She was charged with solicitation to commit murder and illegal use of a computer to facilitate a crime
