Macomb County shop J&M Jewelers has launched a real-life treasure hunt.
The shop’s owners have buried million dollars worth of treasure in locations all over Michigan.
It’s a way to say farewell to the local shop, which is closing after 23 years in business.
Those who would like to participate in the Treasure Quest may purchase tickets. In turn, they’ll get some clues to help find the treasure.
The first Treasure Quest has a prize worth around $4,200 and kicks off Aug. 1. Tickets are $49 for the first Quest, but prices will vary for other Quests.
For information and to buy tickets, head to JohnnysTreasurequest.com.
