If you have a knack for toilet design, you could earn $20,000 from NASA. Say what?
NASA is in need of a decent toilet for those going to the moon. The toilet needs to work both in microgravity and on the lunar surface. It also needs to work comfortably for both men and women.
As it turns out, the last time humans landed on the moon, in December 1972, they were all wearing something much like diapers. Not cool.
To get help, NASA is asking for ideas for the toilet with a “Lunar Loo” challenge. The top prize is $20,000.
Check out more information on the challenge, as well as the many guidelines for said toilet, here.
