Video games can be good for you?
The FDA recently approved a cell phone game for treatment in young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder called EndeavorRX. The game, a 3rd person cell phone app, was shown in tests to be an effective form of non drug treatment for ADHD symptoms in roughly 20 minute-per-day increments.
Studies in the past have shown that video games can help with other brain disorders like Alzhiemer’s as well as boost brain productivity. Now if I could get a prescription showing the amount of hours I put into Animal Crossing or Breath of the Wild were good for my brain I’d be set.
