Ever since diving back into vinyl over three years ago, I've really gotten into 70's progressive rock. Here's just a very small sample of albums from that era that I really like. There's many more. That's a pandora's box that I opened up and it hasn't closed.

I can't place my finger on why I like this Bruce Hornsby album so much. Maybe it's the great songwriting. Perhaps the excellent musicianship. It's got it all.

There's a couple albums that have come out recently that seemed to have slipped through the cracks. The Dee Snider record is a solid metal album. Thunderous guitars, hooky songs, Dee's growl, it's got all of it. The Myles Kennedy record is just a great album to sit back and chill to. I interviewed Myles for this album and he told me about how personal it was. It's a deep dive into his live outside of Slash and Alter Bridge.

What are some records people might be surprised to know you like? #MeltdownsJMC on the socials.
