Two Suspects Charged After 5 Hour Negotiation with Police

Asheville Police responded to a report of a stabbing and found a victim suffering from life threatening injuries.  After some investigation they found a suspect involved in the stabbing barricaded inside an apartment.After 5 hours of negotiation they got the suspect out of the apartment.  Another woman was inside the apartment with the man and was also arrested and charged.  The reason they are making our news is because of their mugshots!

2 charged after stabbing, hours-long negotiation at Asheville apartment

ASHEVILLE, N. C. (WLOS) - After approximately five-hours of negotiation, a male suspect has surrendered to Asheville police and voluntarily requested to be evaluated at the hospital following a morning negotiation. Authorities say at approximately 3:40 a. m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, the Asheville Police Department received a report of a stabbing at 15 Woodfin Street.
