Midland made the national news this week, as heavy rains were too much for two major dams to handle.

Thousands of people were forced out of their homes, and the fact the flooding happened during a global pandemic compounded the situation.

If you would like to help our friends in Midland County, the United Way of Midland offers these suggestions:

  • SIGN-UP: Sign up for volunteer alerts here. Opportunities will be announced as needs arise.
  • DONATE: Give to Rise Together, a relief fund that has been established to help provide vital resources to families impacted.
  • SUPPLIES DONATIONS: The need for supplies is changing rapidly. If you or your organization would like to donate items, fill out this survey. They ask that you do not drop off items directly to shelters.
