Well, I just signed my son up for summer hockey. Wishful thinking? Perhaps. You gotta have some sort of hope, right? Maybe it will clear the clouds and bring out the sunshine.

I wasn't sure what I was going to write about today, then I saw it was Andre The Giant's birthday. Last week they replayed the historic match with Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 3. The Silverdome packed with fans to the rafters to witness one of the most historic, cultural events of the 80's. I was in the inner workings of the Silverdome once and that iconic picture of Hogan slamming Andre hung on the wall.

By the way, I'm one of these people that has never watched "The Princess Bride". It was on the other day and I watched a few minutes. I don't know, maybe it's not for me.

Were you ever at an event that became historic? I guess I could instantly jump to the last Soundgarden show. No one knew it at the time that it would become an instant in rock history. Growing up in Buffalo, N.Y. I was also present at the 'biggest comeback' in playoff history between the Bills and the Houston Oilers. I tried to leave but one of my friends wouldn't let me. I'm glad I stayed! Have you ever witnessed anything like that?

Have a great Tuesday!
