Hangout Music Festival is off for 2020, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), and will return in 2021. In the meantime, it appears festival organizers are planning a "Hang From Home" event that will take place in May.
The virtual festival is being planned for May 15 to 17 with performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Dave Matthews Band, Gary Clark Jr., The Revivalists and more, according to Live for Live Music, who states that a graphic for the festival was removed from The Hangout Festival's social media pages.
Other artists reportedly getting involved include The 1975, Alabama Shakes, Billie Eilish, Cage The Elephant, Dominic Fike, The Flaming Lips, Foster The People, Glorious Sons, Jamell Richardson, The Killers, Panic! At The Disco, Phoenix, Twenty One Pilots and Wilco.
According to Live for Live Music, a representative from Hangout Music Festival stated "that the graphic was removed due to some incorrect information it contained and noted that the announcement will be re-launched once the details are in place."
Stay tuned.
