Here are the week’s 5 Michigan made bands that you should totally check out while you’re disinfecting every room in your house!

Further Closer
Eight musicians make up Further Closer from Holland, MI. They call themselves a “folk rock orchestra” and are led by Jake Kalmink, who’s also the front man for the band The Fever Haze. Their album Pinch Me, I Must Be Dreaming was released last month. Hear it in its entirety at Bandcamp.com. Get at them on Facebook at @FurtherCloserBand.
Adventurer
Adventurer are a post-hardcore trio from Detroit. Follow them on social media for the full Adventurer experience. They’re on Facebook and Instagram at @AdventurerMusic and you can find their Tweets at @AdventurerMI. This is the video for their latest single, “Vicious Circle”.
Jenn’s Apartment
The guitar driven sound of Jenn’s Apartment would fit right in on ’90s alternative rock radio or the early 2000s Warped Tour. The pop-punk-power trio from Lansing released an EP called Dr_gs last month and they have a new album of music titled The Bird The Bridge The Wire that comes out April 17th at midnight. Check them out everywhere you stream music and give their FB page a “like” at @JennsApartment.
Young Ritual
Young Ritual is the solo indie project of Flint singer-songwriter Dylan Grantham. As the world stays in place to overcome Covid-19, Dylan has kept moving by making new music. His three-song, stripped-down EP Spare Room is available now on Spotify and at Bandcamp.com. Find him on Facebook at @YoungRitual.
