Well, I've gotten back into the video game. Here's my latest Meltdown's Meltdown video about how things have changed dramatically in the last 30 days.

Our RIFF of the day is Dimebag Darrell. That guys was one of a kind. I had the privilege to meet and see him a few times, dating back to the early 90's. To me, he was a top 5 guitarist. He told me in an interview in January of 2004 that it was true that he had won every guitar contest in Dallas by time he was 16. They told him that, in his words "You'd done won all the gear" and to give the other guys a chance, so they made him a judge. As the years went by after his death, I really got to know his brother, Vinnie Paul, very well. Every time I would bring up or text Vinnie about Dime, you could tell he loved that guy to no end. In a weird way, when V.P. died a couple years ago, I felt he was finally happy to be reunited with his brother. He always seemed like a big part of him was missing.

"Dimebag Darrell" The Hitz is a special record store day vinyl I got a couple years ago. It's killer, although there's only five tracks on it. V.P. once told me they had tons of licks that Dime laid down throughout the years. He said he was always playing. I texted a picture of this album to Vinnie when I got hit. He responded with prayer hands, black hearts and devil horn emoji's.

Later today I'll be posting a new interview with David Ellefson. Wow, it's awesome! I grabbed a special guest to pop in on the conversation that blew David away. You could hear it in his voice how excited he was to talk with this person. David has SOOO much going on, outside of Megadeth. He gives me an update, in depth, about the new album and how Dave Mustaine is doing. You'll be able to listen to it here later today.

Talk to you guys tomorrow...stay safe and be well.....
