Meltdown

While at a fire at the neighbor's last night, with some mighty tasty Old Forrester, he told me about a Netflix series called Wild Wild Country. I'm 2 1/2 episodes in. It's no Tiger king, but it's intriguing. It's about a commune of people, perhaps cult-like, that buy up a huge swath of land in baron Oregon, just down the road from a sleepy little town. Like I said, there's no gay, gun touting tiger tamers yet....but I'm hoping! LOL

April is International Guitar Month. Today, we'll honor the one and only Zakk Wylde. Quick story about the first time I met him. I was leaving work doing the overnight shift in 1991. As I was about to pull out on to a major street a tour bus went by. I knew Ozzy was in town that night, and I'm such a huge fan, I had to follow the bus to see if it was Ozzy. As it turns out it was the band. I just remember how nice Zakk was to talk to some creep who had followed the tour bus after he'd left work. To be honest, all we really talked about was football! I recall at one point he was leaning with his back to the wall of the hotel, with one foot up on the wall. He's been awesome every time I've ever had any interaction with him!

Be safe, be healthy and have a great weekend, everybody!
