Here are 5 Michigan made bands to check out while you're sitting around doing nothing! Check 'em out!

Artificial Agent

Artificial Agent couldn't come from anyplace but Detroit. Gritty, aggressive, a little bit of the old mixed in with the new. This is the second single from their latest album Death Ray.

Future Misters

Indie rock from Grand Rapids, courtesy of Future Misters. Their new single is about "a feeling of chaos in facing pressures of the real world and being pushed into a life you don't want to live." In other words, it's a tried and true theme of angst that's perfect for the world we're living in at this moment.

Stream this one on all digital platforms and check them out at FutureMisters.com.

Boys N' Ties

The fact that they got their name because they were four dudes who went to private school and wore ties on the daily has no impact on the fact that Boys N' Ties are a kick ass alt rock band. Here's the new single from the Canton natives.

Kevin B. Klein

If you prefer a more classic rock sound, I'd like to introduce you to Kevin B. Klein. Not only is KBK a genuinely good dude who is passionate about the plight of the homeless and is a huge supporter of our military veterans, but his brand of rock music hearkens back to straight-forward, good time rock 'n' roll while keeping its originality. This is the title track to his latest album They Call It Rock 'N' Roll.

Cyn

Cyn, aka Cynthia Lovely, aka Cynthia Nabozny grew up in Detroit and kept a journal to cope with being bullied. Then she began writing song lyrics. Then she found herself in Katy Perry's living room, auditioning for a spot on the mega pop star's record label, Unsub Records. Then she got signed. Cyn has a pop sound that's not quite pop. There's an alternative undercurrent in her music that makes it the perfect something to break up the monotony of what you might usually listen to. Her latest single is a subtle anthem for ladies everywhere. "He got mad. So I got drinks." You do you, girl. You do you.
