The movie theater has launched virtual screenings, giving viewers a chance to watch unique, indie films in the comfort -- and safety -- of their own homes.
Cinema Detroit also is selling carryout concession snacks on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You can order and pay online, and pick-ups are arranged via texting.
View Cinema Detroit's current film selections -- including "Bacurau" (cast pictured above), "The Etruscan Smile," "The Wild Goose Lake" and more -- and find virtual tickets here.
The virtual showings will help give indie movie fans something to watch while theaters are closed, plus help Cinema Detroit during this uneasy time.
The Film Lab in Hamtramck has also launched a virtual cinema. Find details on that here.
