Anyone who’s heard Samuel L Jackson read Adam Mansbach’s book Go the F— to Sleep knows how iconic it is. And now the actor is lending his voice for another good cause.
Jackson went on The Jimmy Kimmel Show to chat with Kimmel and talk about coronavirus and how he’s spending his time self-quarantining. He also took some time to read for the audience. He explains that Adam Mansbach reached out to him again about reading a new poem he wrote about stay home and social distancing. And thankfully, he said yes.
The poem begins with, “The rona is spreading, this s— is no joke,” and from there, it gets more and more impressive. Listen to Samuel’s interview and poem reading below.
