Altered Carbon: Netflix

The concept of this show is very intriguing to me. The whole time watching it I was amazed with the world the show had created. It takes an awesome syfy concept and adds action and drama into the mix. A very cool and interesting watch.

Lock & Key: Netflix

This is based off a graphic novel which means it will be something I will for sure check out. The concept of the story is awesome and I thought the teens/kids in the show were great at their roles. This show had me hooked and I finished it in 2 days. The ending makes you want season two right away.

The Mandalorian: Disney+

This is what Star Wars is meant to be. The perfect space western. Creator/Director Jon Favreau really outdid himself with this show. Awesome graphics, action, and of course BABY YODA! This is a must watch for any Star Wars fan and I’m sure it would impress anyone who watches it.

The Witcher: Netflix

To me this is like Game of Thrones meets Lord of the Rings in a way. Awesome syfy/fantasy show. Henry Cavill’s best role yet as Geralt.

Lucifer: Netflix

This is honestly one of my favorite shows. Tom Ellis as Lucifer is one of the best roles in television. His sarcasm and his wit are off the charts. It really gives a different take on Lucifer and his character arc is great. This is an awesome cop drama with a twist.

Jade was born and raised in Detroit Rock City and grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tom Petty, etc. In high school she tried multiple different styles from cheerleader to goth but couldn’t do gymnastics and couldn’t get her eyeliner dark enough. She settled on jeans and a t-shirt, playing sports and making normal situations overly awkward. When she’s not making bad jokes on the radio you can find her shanking golf balls into the woods on the golf course and drinking beers at the bar. She has a strict two shot limit when it comes to tequila. Jade enjoys writing and talking about everything happening in Detroit Rock City, our Detroit sports teams, golf, and her fear of robots.
