I thought I'd post here daily to let you know what my days are like during these very strange times.

Since I missed the first two days, here's a brief synopsis....work out - work - home - cocktails. Ok, the blog would be boring if that's all that happened to me. Yesterday I texted my friend, Jesse James Dupree from Jackyl to see if he'd like to hop on my Talkin' Rock podcast to chat it up about what he's doing - and it's a lot - and talk about all sorts of other topics, including what's going on now. As it turned out, he was stuck on conference calls all afternoon, so we're going to try to do it soon.

Speaking of which, I have texted some of my friends and I hope to have a new podcast out Friday with guys like Johnny Chow from Stone Sour, David Ellefson from Megadeth, Frank Bello from Anthrax and hopefully a few more chiming in on what they're doing during this crisis. Just like us, these guys are sitting around too.

By the way, it was really weird to be in the studio on St. Patrick's Day. In 24 years at WRIF I don't think that's ever happened.

I'm also going to post about some brushes with fame I've had to try to keep you guys somewhat entertained. After watching the ZZ Top documentary over the weekend it jarred a couple funny memories of a some moments I had with Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill. Coming soon...

Today, I woke up early for some reason, had a protein bar and got in a quick 45 minute workout. Today's soundtrack - Vanilla Fudge (I had an old record laying around and I tossed it on....it didn't last long) Slayer's "Repentless". When all else fails, put on SLAYER! Heading to work early to get some interviews out of the way, hopefully Jesse and a couple others, Then on the air.

I'll post tomorrow on how the interviews went, and maybe what I thought of the latest Better Call Saul episode - which I fell asleep watching last night.
