A New Show About “Mixed-Weight” Couples Called “Hot and Heavy” is Receiving Tons of Backlash
The TV network TLC has just announced a new show about “mixed weight” couples called “Hot and Heavy.” It’s a reality show that follows three couples that consist of a heavier female and an average weight male.
The show hasn’t even aired yet and it is taking a TON of backlash online.

People online think the show is exploiting obese people for ratings and not celebrating people of different sizes being in love with each other. The show is set to air in early January so TLC still has some time to reconsider airing the program or making changes so that it’s less offensive.
