Gary Holt Gives Kevin Hart A Pass for Wearing Exodus Shirt
Fans wanted to know how Exodus/Slayer guitarist Gary Holt felt about a pic making the rounds of comedian Kevin Hart wearing an Exodus shirt while on a press tour with actor Dwayne Johnson.
Holt finally acknowledged the pic, reposting it to Instagram over the weekend saying that he doubts Hart is a fan of his band. He said that a stylist more than likely found the shirt in a vintage shop and thought Hart would look cool in it. Holt did, however, give Hart a pass on the shirt, though, saying “Another dude wearing metal shirts to look edgy. Who knows? BUT…I’m a huge Kevin Hart fan so I give him a pass cause he makes me laugh my ass off!” Holt has been known to call celebrities like the Kardashians out for wearing metal shirts while most likely not knowing any of the band’s music. In fact, he responded to Kendall Jenner wearing a Slayer shirt by wearing a shirt on stage that read “Kill The Kardashians.”
