If you’re a car guy, this has to be, by far, the most ridiculous, automotive-headline of the year: “Ford’s Mustang Mach-E debut puts pressure on Chevy to build a Corvette SUV.”
The headline comes courtesy of CNBC which goes on to report that some guy named Adam Jonas from Morgan Stanley thinks a Corvette SUV sub-brand could net $7-to-$12-billion.
And apparently, there’s some wheels turning in the brains at GM because they haven’t “squashed the idea.”
As far as I’m concerned, don’t put four doors or turn another muscle car into a SUV! Leave our hot rods alone!
