Don’t miss the 16th annual tree lighting ceremony this Friday night as 19,000 lights fill the night sky with the Christmas spirit.  Skating at Campus Martius, shopping at the Holiday Market and hot chocolate (or something a little stronger)  in the cozy Lodge next to a warm fire.  All within a few city blocks downtown….

Detroit Tree Lighting Ceremony

Headlining Detroit's annual holiday celebration is Detroit's own GRAMMY-nominated artist Mayer Hawthorne. Guests will also enjoy performances from the Detroit Youth Choir, World Champion Figure Skater and two-time Olympian Yuka Sato, and Olympian Mirai Nagasu, the first American figure skater to land a triple axel at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
