Looking for an unconventional Christmas gift this year?  How about a special South African gin infused with elephant dung?  Yes, it’s a real product, and the makers of Indlovu Gin insist it isn’t ‘crap’.

Elephants eat lots of fruits and flowers, much of which goes undigested.  The makers say that lends an “amazing variety of botanicals” to the gin, which they say has a “wooded, almost spicy, earthy” flavor. A bottle of Indlovu, which means ‘elephant’ in the Zulu language, sells for about $32 a bottle.
