The flu season is in full effect in January and February, but it's never too early to work on a cocktail to help relief you of the symptoms.

According to Maxim, a simple mix of 2 ounces bourbon whiskey - 1/2 lemon, juiced (about 2 ounces) - 2-4 ounces water (optional) - 1 tablespoon honey does the trick. Speaking from experience, it does cut the flu symptoms down. Warm it up in the microwave or stove top to give it a little more punch.

Keep this concoction in mind this winter, for those of legal age, of course.....
