No Vision, Sharks Never Sleep and more at Trumbullplex in Detroit. Punk, pop punk, hardcore and such. It all starts at 7pm.

Singer-songwriter Isaac Ryder with some acoustic soul at Jim Brady’s in Royal Oak. Get there at 8pm.

Friday, October 4th.

Cadiuex Cafe in Detroit has got it going on with The Beggars, Dude & Dirty Mic & The Boys! Starts at 9pm.

Producer, composer, synth magician Steve Greene is in for a night of video games and music at Pop Offworld in Detroit. Show up at 9pm!

Ever want to be in a death metal video? Hell yeah, you have. Get down to Sanctuary in Detroit and be in the live music video shoot for Garden City’s Carnis Immortalis. They’re bringing some terrific local metal bands with them. It starts at 7pm.

The Parliament Room at Otus Supply in Ferndale is a great place to catch a show. Don’t miss Detroit’s Break Anchor along with a great local support lineup including the highly recommended Pancho Villa’s Skull out of Pontiac. It starts at 8:30 but get there early.

Release party for folk/Americana singer-songwriter May Erlewine’s new album at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Go chill starting at 8pm.

Great lineup at Ghost Light in Hamtramck including Detroit alt-rock/pop-punk from Detroit’s Alluvial Fans and The Plastic Beach. Get there at 8pm to catch the entire night of bands.

Saturday, October 5th.

Going to see The Black Keys? Get to the LCA early and rock with Detroit’s Rolling Blue at Kid Rock’s Made In Detroit. Doors at 4pm.

Get rocked @ The Blind Pig in A2 with Ypsi’s Stormy Chromer, Traverse City’s Biomassive & more. Be there at 8:30 or so.

Looking for a live band and beers on the east side? Get to Paddywhacks in Fraser for the Jack Riot experience! 9pm, or roundabout. 

Sunday, October 6th.

Get up close and personal with Detroit singer-songwriter Jena Irene Asciutto at Jim Brady’s in Royal Oak. She goes on at 7:30.
