Sharon Osbourne appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (September 11) to promote the new season of CBS’ The Talk, and naturally, the topic of husband Ozzy Osbourne and his health issues came up.

Ozzy has spent most of 2019 recuperating from a number of health issues including three major surgeries he had after a nasty fall in his home that dislodged metal rods in his body that were implanted after his ATV accident in 2003 that nearly killed him.

Sharon told Kimmel, “Ozzy, the other day, put together an x-ray of his upper chest and his neck, and no wonder they call him ‘Iron Man,’ because I tell you, he’s got bolts,  he’s got so much metal in his body, it’s frightening.”

Fortunately, though, Ozzy is getting better, but Sharon admits “…it’s been a very, very hard road.”

Of course, Ozzy made news in the rock world last week when “Take What You Want,” a track off the new album from rapper Post Malone, was released. So, how did that happen? Credit (or blame, depending on if you like the song) goes to daughter Kelly Osbourne.

“Kelly knows Post’s producer,” said Sharon. “And Post was a fan of Ozzy’s, and he was doing all of these different collaborations on his new album, and he asked Ozzy if he wanted to do it…It was just great. They spoke to each other over Skype in the studio, because Post was on the road, and Ozzy’s in the studio with Post’s producer. Literally, it took like 30 minutes. Done!”
