In past interviews, Gavin Rossdale has said that the new album, The Mind Plays Tricks On You, would come out the fall. When I caught up with him Sunday before their show at Meadowbrook, he told me he "Got in Trouble" for saying that and now says the record should see the light of day in March or April of 2020.

He also told me what it was like to be a rock-star dad and gave me some fatherly advice. We talked about the late Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington, plus, his thought process as he hits the stage every night and lots more.

This is a fun listen, and might I add, he's the only rocker who ever offered me a beer before we started the interview!

Check it out here.
