BRISTOL, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 14: A record dealer in Wanted Records in St Nicholas Market puts on a vinyl record on the shop’s turntable on October 14, 2015 in Bristol, England. Although sales of vinyl records declined dramatically with the introduction of digital formats such as CDs and downloads it is now seen as a premium product and sales this year in the UK of newly pressed LP records on vinyl are expected to top 2million double what they were in 2014. It's no secret that I'm a rock guy. Metallica, Ozzy, Tool, GNR....on and on. But, there are some albums I like that might surprise you. Everyone has them. Steve Black is a huge Cure fan. Screamin' Scott loves Paul Revere and the Raiders.

#3 - Bruce Hornsby "The Way It Is". Great songs, well written, well played by musicians who are top notch. Just one of those records you put on and walk away.

#2 - Don Henley "Building The Perfect Beast". I mean, what more has to be said about an Eagle. With songs like "The Boys Of Summer", "All She Wants To Do Is Dance" and "Sunset Grill" - which is a tad "Hotel California"-ish with darker undertones and over 6 minutes long - this record is a great listen.

#1 - Tears For Fears "Songs From The Big Chair". I mean, monster hits like "Shout", "Head Over Heals" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World", this album is a classic.

What are some albums you like that might surprise people?
