Unfortunately, the cops weren't too happy with the expensive act of love and devotion, arresting the 27-year-old for "misusing his boarding pass," noting on their Facebook page, "He had no intention to depart Singapore."
Turns out he's not the only one. According to the Singapore Police Force, "Since January 2019, the Police have arrested 33 persons for the misuse of boarding passes."
Those convicted of the crime can be hit with a $20,000 Singapore Dollar ($14,500 USD) fine and/or two years in prison.
