Watch How Fast This Bear Leaps at a Car
POING, GERMANY - APRIL 27: Brown bear cubs play with their mother, Mia, at a wildlife park on April 27, 2007, in Poing, Germany. There is a discussion in Bavaria over reintroducing bears into the wild since roaming brown bear "Bruno" was shot last summer in the Bavarian Alps. Brown bears were originally domestic in Germany, but the species was eradicated about 170 years ago. We’re pretty sure this happened somewhere in Eastern Europe. Somebody is parked on a country road and filming a brown bear as it’s walking out of a wooded area.
The bear’s getting kind of close but seems more curious than dangerous . . . until it suddenly LEAPS at the car with lightning speed. Fortunately the window was closed or the bear may have seriously injured the passenger.
