Meat Loaf did a Q&A session at a horror convention a few days ago . . . but unfortunately, he didn't make it all the way through.  Everything was going great, until he tripped over some loose wires and FELL OFF THE STAGE.

There's video making the rounds, and he fell hard.  According to reports, he was hospitalized with a broken collarbone . . . but there's no official word from Meat or his people.
