Michigan’s own We Came As Romans recently spoke with Billboard about plans to enter the studio to work on their first album since singer Kyle Pavone passed away in August 2018.
Dave Stephens, vocalist for the band said:
“We’ve been throwing a few demos around, I love that we’re going into the studio with so much to write about and something that hits home for all of us so hard. We’ve never had something so terrible happen, and I think it’s going to be therapeutic to write about it and be together and go through the whole process. I’m actually really looking forward to it.
The band still has no plans to hire someone to fill Pavone’s spot. They are currently on tour through the month of April and have been sharing posts from each city on their social media accounts. Their latest album Cold Like War came out in October 2017.
