Slipknot is playing things close to the vest regarding their new studio album, but at least fans know the band is back in the studio.
Corey Taylor shared this brief update via Instagram of him “Back to work…” in a studio.
A release schedule is not yet known for the follow-up to 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter. The only preview fans have came back on Halloween with the surprise release of “All Out Life.”
Taylor told Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show on Apple Music at the time the album is “…going to be one of the darkest chapters in Slipknot’s history. It’s that good…it’s gonna be talking about a lot of things that people are going to need in their life right now.”
