A Guy Rides an Ice Wave Out of a Swimming Pool
COBHAM, UNITED KINGDOM - FEBRUARY 02: A swimmer braves sub-zero temperatures and snow to enjoy the heated pool at the Oasis Sports Centre in central London on February 2, 2009. The United Kingdom has suffered its heaviest snowfall since the 1990's. The heavy snow has disrupted many parts of the London transport network, and hundreds of school have been forced to close. A guy is standing on a thick sheet of ice that had formed over the water of his above ground swimming pool . . . and he’s using a shovel to rip apart the pool’s lining.
But when the lining breaks open, the water pours out in a wave and he rides the ice sheet like a surfer into the yard.
