Rock ‘n’ roll and wrestling:  They’re a perfect pair.  It’s no wonder Shinedown songs often serve as the themes to various WWE programming.

In honor of frontman Brent Smith’s birthday, here are six Shinedown Songs that have served as WWE show themes.

“I Dare You”

The second single off Shinedown’s second studio release, “I Dare You” was used as the primary theme song for 2005’s No Mercy and the secondary theme for WrestleMania 22.

“Devour”

Used as the primary theme of 2008’s Night of Champions, “Devour” can also be found on the band’s third studio album The Sound of Madness.

“Cut The Cord”

This was not only the lead single off of Shinedown’s 2015 studio album, Threat to Survival, but it also served as the primary theme to 2015’s Hell In A Cell

“Diamond Eyes”

From October 2012-January 2014, this digital single (which was originally written for the film The Expendables) was the theme for the weekly series Main Event.  “Diamond Eyes” was also the secondary theme to WrestleMania XXVII.

“Enemies”

This track off Shinedown’s fourth studio release, Amaryllis, served as the theme to Monday Night Raw from July 2016 to January 2018.

"Devil"

The lead single off of Shinedown's latest album, Attention Attention, "Devil" served as the official theme song of Wrestlemania 34.
