This Pantera/David Bowie Mashup Has No Business Being This Good
LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 02: Musician Philip Anselmo arrives at the 5th Annual Revolver Golden Gods Award Show at Club Nokia on May 2, 2013 in Los Angeles, California; NEWPORT, ENGLAND - JUNE 13: David Bowie performs on stage on the third and final day of 'The Nokia Isle of Wight Festival 2004' at Seaclose Park, on June 13, 2004 in Newport, UK. The third annual rock festival takes place during the Isle of Wight Festival which runs from June 4-19.
As far as mashups go, this one is equal parts ambitious and brilliant.
YouTuber Bill McClintock has made his share of unique mashups featuring metal’s biggest icons alongside classic hits from total opposite genres, but his latest clip combining Pantera’s “5 Minutes Alone” and David Bowie’s “Fame” is truly something else.
And who would have thought Phil Anselmo’s vocals would sound so great alongside Bowie’s?!
