A Guy Put Glitter Bombs and Fart Spray in Boxes to Surprise Package Thieves
RICHMOND, CA - DECEMBER 19: Packages sit on a rack at the U.S. Post Office distribution center on December 19, 2016 in Richmond, California. Postal service employees are working through the busiest week of the year as they process and ship an estimated 16 billion pieces of mail and packages to be delivered for the holidays. This was one of the top trending videos yesterday. A YouTuber named Mark Rober put glitter bombs and fart spray inside boxes and set them to go off when package thieves opened them up. He also installed cell phones to grab footage.
It’s an 11-minute video that goes into detail about all the gadgets it took to make it happen, and if you’re a geek, you’ll love that stuff.
But if you’re all about the payoff, well, that’s even better. He placed packages on his own porch as well as a friend’s . . . and five different thieves get their due.
Did we mention that each box has a pound of glitter . . . and that the fart spray is attached to a motor that will make it spray five times . . . AND that the fart spray will go off every 30 seconds?
