BEWARE! Hackers 'can detect your smart sex toy from outside your house - and turn it on'
They're calling this act of detecting your pleasure device on a wifi network and then turning it on, or messing with it "screwdriving." So if you are an owner of one of these smart pleasure toys be careful if a hacker takes control while in use the user could NOT be able to turn it off and be at the mercy of the hacker!
Picture the scene: a hacker is hunched over a laptop in a car outside a suburban home, when suddenly from within come strange, muffled screams. This chilling scenario came a step closer today, as hackers at Pen Test Partners (short for Penetration Test, naturally), showed how to take over Bluetooth butt plugs.
