When police arrived they found the woman fully nude in the ocean in view of children. She admitted to going into the water topless and said she must have lost her bottoms. The couple began arguing the legality of being nude at the beach and claimed that it was legal where they were from in Vermont. They also used the argument "we are all human."
Both of them were arrested for indecent exposure.
